Britain’s longest-reigning sovereign and Monarch Queen, Elizabeth II became seriously ill and is under medical supervision at Balmoral, Scotland. After her majesty’s doctors were concerned about her health, her family members rushed to be by her side, Buckingham Palace reports.
Her Majesty is under Medical Supervision
On Thursday morning during her regular check-up, doctors showed concern for Her Majesty’s health and recommended she should remain under medical observation. The Queen is pleasing and comfortable till now. After hearing the news, Her heir and oldest son Prince Charles and his wife Camilla traveled to Balmoral Castle.
Similarly, the Duke of York and Count and Countess of Wessex also headed towards her. Furthermore, Princess Anne was already in Balmoral undertaking a marriage function.

Likewise, her grandson and Duke of Cambridge Prince Williams and his wife Kate are also on the way. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle also traveled to Balmoral, as per their spokesperson. The Queen has been suffering from mobility problems since December 2021.
In October last year, she spent a night in the hospital, and she has been forced to cut back on her public engagements since then. On 7 September 2022, Queen called off a virtual meeting with senior ministers after her doctors advised her to rest.

After the news flash, the UK’s newly elected Prime Minister Liz Truss wrote on her Twitter “the whole country would be deeply concerned by the news”. Similarly, the speaker of the House of Commons Lindsay Hoyle interrupted the parliament meeting to say he sent his best wishes to Elizabeth.

The Monarch has been leading the position for the last seventy years. She recently appointed Liz Truss as the Prime Minister of the UK at her Balmoral Castle. Liz Truss, elected the PM of Britain on September five defeated former Finance Minister Rishi Sunak. Truss defeated him by over 20000 votes. They both are members of the UK’s Conservative Party.
