The CEO and co-founder of HQ Trivia Colin Kroll, found dead of an overdose of the drug at the bedroom.
Colin’s Girlfriend called New York Police Department officers and responded at 12:18 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 early and asked them to check him after he was out of communication. Police went down to Manhattan; entered his apartment and found Colin’s body with drugs in his bedroom, tmz reported.
Thirty-five years old Colin was only named CEO of the HQ Trivia mobile app in 2015. He was fired from Twitter after he was scolded to be “worse manager” after female employees claimed about his behavior. However, no sexual harassment report ever filed.
Kroll was also the co-founder of Vine and was General Manager between 2013 and 2014. And, he was the Chief Technology Officer for Jetsetter.

Colin Kroll was a co-founder of Vine. After graduating with a degree in Computer Science from Oakland University, Kroll started as a software engineer at Right Media in 2006, which was later acquired by Yahoo! After the acquisition, Kroll served as an engineering manager at Yahoo! for two years. After a few years as an engineer and then the Chief Technology Officer, Kroll went on to co-found Vine in May 2012.
Vine was launched in 2012 and was later sold to Twitter in October 2012 for smartphones. He slipped down from his position as Vine’s general manager in April 2014.
