I definitely like to incorporate my Nepalese heritage into my singing and my music.

Parijita and her family are huge fans of The Voice for a long time. She revealed that she has always watched the show together with her family. Her parents own a small restaurant in Maryland, and they close on Mondays to watch The Voice.

Parijita is a vocalist of the Bastola Band
Parijita is the lead singer of the band Bastola, which is named after her. The band performs often performs gigs in Severna Park, Maryland. She formed the band with her friends, Jack Slote, Jesse Kegley, Bennett, Terhunt, and Dylan Hood in early 2020.
The Bastola recently performed at the International Blues Challenge. Their bands have sung covers of Rihanna, Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, and many more artists. They are on a mission to incorporate blues into the next generations.
